Kevin Lenahan
I’m an industrialist and investor based in Cleveland. I lead 2 Retrievers in healthcare and Great Holdings in mining, natural resources, land, and traditional assets. At Case Western Reserve University, I direct specialty master’s programs in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, and Supply Chain, and teach as an Adjunct Professor.
BACKGROUND
About me
My work spans operating businesses, investing across asset classes, and connecting education with industry.
I’m based in Cleveland, with business experience across Australia, Mexico, the United States, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. I’ve worked in sectors ranging from flooring and detergent to pharmaceuticals, pharmacies, and medical devices.
At Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management, I’m Program Director for Specialty Master’s Programs and an Adjunct Professor. The specialty master’s programs cover Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, and Supply Chain. Before CWRU, I taught at UNSW Business School in Australia.
I earned my MBA and Master of Commerce at the University of Sydney, where I also co-founded the South Sudan Library Foundation. Today, I serve with the Kendita Initiative and continue my studies in compliance and risk management at CWRU’s School of Law.
I also work part-time as a Nursing Assistant in trauma at University Hospitals. I took on the role to learn healthcare through direct patient support, helping people through illness, suffering, and the end of life with science and thoughtfulness.

Teaching & industry
At CWRU, I direct specialty master’s programs in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, and Supply Chain, and teach as an Adjunct Professor. My work includes student development, curriculum coordination, employer partnerships, and applied business projects.
Community
I co-founded the South Sudan Library Foundation, helped establish the Juba Public Peace Library, and work with the Kendita Initiative on leadership development. I’ve also mentored students through Service to School.
